Some friends and I did the OVCA Winners Walk of Hope, sponsored by NOCA. It’s the first time the walk has happened in Vancouver.

It was a beautiful day for a walk through Van Dusen Gardens and my little team raised over $1,000. It remains to be seen, but we may break the $2,000 mark. A big thank you to everyone who sponsored me or any of the other folks on my team.

  1. What a wonderful day spent in a beautiful park with fabulous women doing our part to fight the fight. As we were walking I was looking at all those amazing women and I was feeling so grateful to be amongst them all and to be able to call them all friend. I love that we went on mass to the agency to see Marianna. I proud of how quickly we all are gearing up to help her fight her fight.

I didn’t get to write my hope down while there…got distracted.

For the record my hope is to have all of us here and healthy to do it again next year and the year after that and so on and so on and so on.

  2. I’m glad that it went well! Those pics are showing up REALLY BIG though.

I didn’t realize that it was going to be in Vandusen Gardens… I absoultely love it there. My parents used to take me there all the time when I was a kid. I know my way through the maze backwards and forwards – I used to have races with my Dad and my sister. :)

Is it still possible to make a donation?

  3. Fixed the pic size issue.
